You can edit with accuracy to the frame, but the Everio Media Browser software does not have the ability to add titles and transitions. You might want to check out Pinnacle Studio, or Adobe Premiere Elements.

You can definitely take the SD card and copy the files to your computer and use them that way. Unfortunately, there is no way to download the software on-line. The only problem you may have in playing the files directly from the SD card without installing our CD-ROM, is that the computer requires specific codecs for both video and audio to play back the files correctly. When you install the JVC CD-ROM, you are also installing those codecs. Without the JVC CD-ROM, you may be ok, but you may not. It depends on what codecs are already on your PC.

You are correct. When one card fills up, it automatically switches to the other. There is a very brief gap (just a couple of seconds) while it makes the switch.
