Will this unit work with the iphone's bluetooth to make and receive calls thru the stereo??

Yep, works perfectly with the Iphone's bluetooth.

Has decent call quality, you can dial numbers on the display and store numbers as preprogrammed numbers in the unit.

HOWEVER! I have tried 20+ times to download my phone book into the unit, however it disconnects every single time and is unable to download the phone book.

Can the clock be displayed while off?
My vehicle's only clock is in the radio. Is there any way to have it display the clock whrn the unit is off? The manual doesn't mention it!

Unfortunately, it does not. I was very disappointed to learn this. A stereo of this level ought have simple RDS on it.

why i dont get video from dvd disk
I purchased a DVD reciever KW-AVX model. I placed a DVD movie into head unit disk drive and I only heard the sound from movie but didn't see any video image, just the blue background image.

Please hit the DISP key a couple of times until video is displayed. Also, please ensure that your parking brake wire is connected properly and your parking brake is engaged to view video.
