The shuffle is not compatible with the KS-PD100 because the KS-PD100 uses a standard iPod dock connection cable, not USB.

The JVC KS-PD100 iPod adapter is for Audio playback only. Peripheral Electronics makes an adapter that will allow you to playback video through JVC stereos using most iPods: http://mobile.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL027901&pathId=62&page=1

The KS-PD100 is compatible with all generations of iPod Nanos, however, it will not charge the battery of 4th Gen Nano Devices. It is also compatible with all iPod Classic Models, however, it will not charge the battery of the 120 GB iPod classic model.

No. KS-PD100 only tranmits audio.

JVC KS-PD100 and Ipod Touch 2nd Generation
I recently purchased a JVC KD-HDR50 and in the manual it says you can connect your ipod touch / iphone with the KS-PD100. I would like to know before purchasing the adapter if it does in fact work with the second generation ipod touches like the usb connection does. Thanks

The KS-PD100 works with most iPods EXCEPT for the iPod Touch and iPhone. These devices will need to be connected into the KD-HDR50's front USB port for playback functionality.
